Project Cases
Multi-Unit Parallel Inverter Workshop
Source: Longlight Energy Published: 2026-07-17 Views: 220

Project Overview
A metal workshop needed higher continuous AC capacity than a single residential inverter could provide. Parallel Longlight-INV5 units deliver scalable power while keeping a modular battery design.
Customer Challenge
Welders, compressors and lighting required more headroom. The customer wanted modular growth rather than replacing the whole system when production lines expand.
Longlight Solution
Three Longlight-INV5 parallel hybrid inverters operate as a cluster (platform supports up to 6 units). Dual MPPT harvests multi-roof PV strings; dual AC outputs separate critical and non-critical loads. Battery communication via RS485/CAN keeps packs balanced.
System Architecture
- Multiple PV arrays → dual MPPT per inverter
- Longlight-INV5 parallel bus (capacity expansion without redesign)
- Shared LiFePO4 storage (Longlight-200 packs and/or Longlight-304 cabinet)
- Load panel split: critical process vs general lighting
